but Carl said it was love at first sight, even before
the introduction by one of his friends.

Margaret was 20 years old when they got married.
They started to drive to Minneapolis for their
honeymoon, but got snowed-in in Fergus Falls,
only about 40 miles from Moorhead. They said that
they sat in a motel and wrote postcards
to their friends.
And never got to Minneapolis.
